Yeah! especially in the wintertime. I have a really bad issue with dry but oily skin. Try this:

it costs about nine dollars...and it works reeeally well!Is it necassary to moisturize if you have oily skin?
I have oily skin and I have found that using the right moisturizer really does help control the oil. It also helps make-up go on better and stay on longer.
I've found that some of the ones that are labeled for oily skin did not help, at all. So, it takes a lot of trial and error to find the right one for your skin. Some are too heavy while others are too light. It also doesn't help that once I find one that works, the company discontinues it after a few years, forcing me to start the search all over again.
Right now, I'm using Olay's Complete All Day Moisture Lotion for combination/oily skin. I use it with Olay's Clarify %26amp; Cleanse Daily Scrub and the matching toner.
If you decide to try the moisturizing lotion, don't confuse it with the mosturizing cream. I tried the cream first, because it's cheaper, and it didn't work as well. The cream comes in a tub/jar and the lotion comes in a 6 FL OZ bottle. Is it necassary to moisturize if you have oily skin?
Yeaahhh.
You can break out easily.
yes, your skin will become oilier to compensate for lack of moisture. use an oil free moisturizer like clinique's

helps treat existing acne and prevent future breakouts. Creates a barrier against acne-causing agents. Helps control excess oil. Calms, soothes, reduces redness. Lightly hydrates to minimize dryness, peeling.
Yes. It is necessary. You would want to use an oil free moisturizer. If you don't moisturize, your skin will do it on it's own by creating extra oil.
It's a good idea to do that. I have very oily skin and I use a moisturizer especially for oily skin. Also, even oily skin can develop dry patches. My skin occassionally flakes on my forehead right above my nose and on my nose tip, and my foundation clogs up in those spots and makes it look nasty. Using a moisturizer will help to keep your skin smooth.
well i wouldn't say that you absoluteley HAVE too... but it wouldn't hurt. If you use a non- oil moisturizer, then it would probably help if you have dry skin and are wanting to moisturize it. But some moisturizers only make your skin more oily- so be careful. Aveeno works well for me.
YES! =)
This may sound weird, but one of the most helpful things that aids in correcting oily skin is using an oil like jojoba or emu oil to moistuirze skin, at least at night. These oils help regulate/correct oil production. You'd only use 2-3 small drops on a clean wet face. Lure Beauty and Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics are great places to get great quality emu oil inexpensively. Jenulence, Milan Minerals and Garden of Wisdom carry jojoba oil...Milan has the least expensive of the three.
For daytime, you might prefer something thinner and good ideas are a natural aloe vera gel or natural light moisturizer made for oily skin like Aubrey Organics carries.
For your makeup, I'd look for something that uses Silk Powder, Pearl Powder or Avena Sativa - oat powder, in their ingredients; instead of zea mays - cornstarch or kaolin (or other) clays. Kaolin, clays and zea mays are known to be very drying and can cause skin to produce even more oils. The other ingredients can actually help not only maintain your olies, but also correct the oil production in time. Lumiere Mineral Cosmetics uses the ingredients I named and don't use clays or zea mays in their formulas.
I don't know if it's NECESSARY, but I would still. Your face can still dry out if you don't moisturize it and remain oily...weird but true. I suggest after washing your face, use an oil-free light MOISTURIZER (don't do lotion, they are different). Also, you can still carry those oil blotting sheets if it really bothers you. An oil-free moisturizer shouldn't make your face oily, but moisturizing keeps your skin healthy and younger longer.
oil-free moisturizer or thermal water will give u the moisture without making your skin more greasy than it is!
however I use clinique anti-blemish 3 step and its quite drying so after I apply my moisturizer it all get into my skin so Ive no probs.
Yes its very good to moisturize your skin ..%26amp; Clinique is my favorite moisturizer!! =)
YES! If your face doesn't recieve a moisturizer, the sebacious glands will over-compensate and products TOO MUCH oil! The cycle is endless. I use the Arbonne moisturizer because it actually keeps my skin just right! Very fresh :)
