Typically gel cleansers are recommended for oily skin types. Careful not to overwash your skin though (I know it's tempting to keep washing that oily shine away!). Twice a day is enough. More than that and your skin will react by producing even more sebum, cos' that's how our skin naturally reacts when cleansing actually removes away our natural skin lipids/oils.
Do use a mattifying facial toner after washing. There are these new generation toners that contain mattifying powders in them. Shake before use and when applied, your skin will feel comfortably matt.
Brands that offer the powder-in-toner include
BIOTHERM, AVENE. After toner, follow with an oil-free moisturiser.
Hope above helps...Good luck :))
How can i get rid of oily skin? does rubbing alcohol work?
Look at your diet. Eliminate or at least minimise any 'bad' fats, and consume the 'good' ones instead. Drink lots of filtered water, eat fresh food, exercise. How can i get rid of oily skin? does rubbing alcohol work?
I wouldn't use rubbing alcohol it's way too harsh for the face and will end up making the problem worse.
